involve themes of transition. Realism is a starting point
that moves into fragmenting, restructuring, and blurring.
There seems to be references to puzzles, childhood toys and
metaphors for change. |

The Urban Paintings began with a fascination
for the city centre. Small realistic studies eventually became
fragmented, rearranged and finally distorted.
